This handgilded looking glass, handmade in America, demonstrates late English Baroque styling from approximately 1720-1740. Found in Wetherburn’s Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg, it testifies to the skill of the carver with the repousse decoration and crests with rosettes. Antique gold leaf paint on wood. Beveled mirror has hardboard back with hangers. Hanging and cleaning instructions included.
